Al Que Quiere
Al Que Quiere is a Los Angeles furniture making collective, started and run by Matthew Sullivan. The name is an acronym for the Latin phrase, “al que quire,” roughly translated, “for he who wants it.” The phrase was lifted from a book of the same name by William Carlos Williams. Their furniture and objects are an interesting mix of styles, clearly influenced by early and mid Modernism with a splash of Kitsch.
