IMPRINT
‘Platform for Typography and Type Design’ is the motto of the first IMPRINT Fair in Mainz. The trade show for font designers and font publishers will be held on the 8th of June as part of the Call for Type exhibition at the Gutenberg-Museum in Mainz. Conceived as a platform for type design, the MPRINT Fair encourages personal exchanges between exhibitors and visitors to support and expand the constructive dialogue with like-minded people. About 15 font designers and font publishers from all over Europe will be on site at the Gutenberg Museum in order to showcase their font designs, catalogues and present, as well as sell some of their free works. Simultaneously, an opportunity to discuss, judge and scrutinize old and new developments will be given.
A limited 12″ vinyl record will be released on the 7th of June to accompany the Imprint Fair at the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz with four exclusively produced tracks, based on 26 experimentally designed glyphs.
And, very important, the entry is free of charge!
