Finissage- A temporary island
Büro NTMY, founded by Soraya Lutangu and Nina Reisinger, strives to use interdisciplinary and unconventional working methods – in particular terms of creative processes and new visual languages with a focus on typography. In a previous blogpost NTMY announced an open call for submissions as a contribution to their current exhibition at Gallery Praterstrasse (Berlin). Next thursday the 24th of february that exhibition comes to an end, and you are all invited to drop by.
At the event Büro NTMY will be presenting their final work: the typeface SUR VIVRE which was designed during the course of the exhibition from sculptures made by the visitors during the vernissage of the project. I will also be there and will be giving a modest talk on the interface between graphic design and fine art.
