Personal Fresh air by Julio Radesca
This is the graduation project of Brazilian designer Julio Radesca at Design academy in Eindhoven. ‘Personal Fresh air’ is an office table with a dozen plants incorporated in the design. These plants don’t only serve as air purifiers but also act as a screen, giving the office a living element. By replacing the soil that the plants need with white hydro stones, which are able to retain water for a longer time, he reduces the amount of water and care the plants need. But all those technical aspects aside, the design is great. The color and bended steel give a mid 20’s feel while incorporating modern techniques.
