Polypropylene Chair by Robin Day
I’m pretty confident that all of you will know this chair. Its indeed Robin Day’s 1963 Polypropylene Chair, or rather the 2015 remake, which is basically exactly the same as the original. The main reason why we all know it must be that they sold so many of them, and that is due to its price. It was the first mass-produced injection-moulded polypropylene chair (that means cheap and plastic) but even though its plastic its still a very pretty chair, I just wish they would have changed the material for the new version.
