The Mobile Museum
The Mobile Museum, by Fabrica designers Dean Brown and Philip Bone, is a travelling museum, with contents contributed by people from all over the world. We welcome contributions from different backgrounds. Whether you are an artist, designer, illustrator, photographer or other practitioner, we want to hear from you. The Mobile Museum collection is always changing, evolving depending on its location, with the location itself dictating the theme.
Friday Late is an innovative program of themed evening events that take place the last Friday of every month at the V&A. The events include live performances, workshops, talks, guest DJs, late night exhibition openings and film screenings that take place in and amongst the Museum’s historic collections and spaces. Friday Late is a free event which takes place between 18.30 and 22.00. The program celebrates all aspects of contemporary visual culture and events.
The MOBILE MUSEUM will be on show at Summer Camp at the V&A on 29 July, so you can either simply visit or contribute to the MM collection.

If you wish to contribute we want you to send contributions that fit with the theme of FRIDAY. Your interpretation of the theme can be very personal, ambiguous, specific, funny, profound, whatever. Contributions can range from small ephemeral printed material, to found objects, photographs, small sculptures, industrial products, posters, postcards, sketches and digital projects. We welcome postal contributions in advance, or you submit an item at the event on 29th July, between 18.30 and 19.30.
