Vincent Vrints
It seems that the Belgian graphic art scene is doing very well lately. With tons of self-initiated, more experimental work coming forth from this little Island, the Belgians are quietly working their way into discussion. Vincent Vrints, a young Belgian (what else?) graphic designer has initiated a series of posters titled ‘Welcome to Antwerp’, where he translates various international visual languages into one of his own. In a kind of contemporary experimentalists way, he promotes Antwerp and invites the rest of the world with a personalized invitation.
